As of 12/10/09 I am officially running for US Senate (Republican).
The question that I am asked most is why? Answer: I simply cannot standby anymore without at least trying to do something. (And my wife said I could)
The next question is usually what is my platform or puts me apart from the other candidates? I think the best answer is that I am not a career politician and really do not care if I upset the current status quo.
Since politicians have decided not to listen to the people of Missouri (or anywhere else) I believe that electing a regular person who believes in what everyone is yelling about will send the clearest message that they better change their ways or the people will change the politicians.
Let us see if the people who say they want politicians that will listen to them and lower spending, shrink the government, lower taxes, finish our fights, fix education, and restore what our founding fathers intended will put their vote where their mouth is.
Otherwise it will be the same old people that only worry about the next election and their pocket. The same people who did nothing to prevent this mess when they had the power.
